SO3 was formed in Southern California in late 2006 by purveyors of guitar-driven, blues-infused rock, drawn together by a shared appreciation for ripping guitar solos, deep throbbing bass, melodic hooks, and thrashing (yet tasteful) drum beats. Since then, SO3 has taken its act coast to coast across the US, delighting fans from San Diego to New York City, to London U.K. It's hard to pin down their sound exactly. One moment they will serenade you with a sorrowful blues and the next moment you will be scaling the table tops to indie dance pop. Much like the San Diego music scene, their essence is diverse and is ready to comfort or melt your face when the moment is right.
